Aston Villa target Kalvin Phillips is speaking with Leeds United about a new contract.
The midfielder is a hot property after an impressive season under Marcelo Bielsa last term.
As Leeds attempt to win the Championship, the club wants to keep its best players.
The 23-year-old is going through contract talks, per the club's chief executive Angus Kinnear.
"We want him to play in the Premier League for Leeds United," Kinnear said to the BBC.
"We are talking about a new contract.
"We want to keep all our best players and Kalvin is part of the plan."
