Colombian legend Tino Asprilla thinks it is time for James Rodriguez to go to Manchester United.

James has struggled in the past few seasons, failing to capture the form that made him a world star around 2014 and 2015.

He was on loan at Bayern Munich for a spell, but they did not sign him permanently. And now Real Madrid want to move him on again.

"Manchester United would be a good place for James," Asprilla told Colombian radio show Blog Deportivo on Blu Radio.

"It's been a while since they have been winning trophies and they are thinking about strengthening the team for next season.

"They've got good players – like Juan Mata, who plays in a similar style to James, although he's a little more dynamic and attacking but I think James could easily fit into that side."
