Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta could not hide his delight at securing the signing of Fabio Vieira from FC Porto.

The attacking midfielder has signed a five-year contract with the club, per British media sources.

Arsenal officially confirmed the move on Tuesday, with Vieira signing for roughly £34.1 million.

In an official statement, manager Arteta stated: "I am very excited that we have identified and signed such a special talent.
