Arsenal are watching Fiorentina fullback Michael Kayode.

The defender has impressed in the early rounds of this season under coach Vincenzo Italiano.

Italy U21 international Kayode is already attracting interest from the Premier League.

Firenze Viola says Arsenal have been alerted to Kayode by their scouts.

The London giants had scouts in place when Fiorentina beat Cagliari 3-0 on Monday to check on the youngster.

However, Fiorentina hopes to secure Kayode on a new contract. His current deal extends to 2025 with an option for another year.
