Arsenal have urged Besiktas to up their offer for Rob Holding.

The defender is open to moving to the Black Eagles, but the Gunners have rejected their opening bid.

Besiktas' first offer of €2.5m has been thrown out by the Gunners.

The figure is far below what the club would consider to sell, says the Athletic.

Holding's current contract at the Emirates Stadium runs until 2024, with the option of a further year.
