Arsenal are pushing ahead with a January spending spree to secure their Premier League position.

The Gunners are at the top of the table at present, just ahead of champions Manchester City.

While they were criticized for not strengthening the squad last winter and missing out on a position in the top four, they are not going to make the same mistake again.

Per The Sun,Arsenal are looking at Danilo, Mykhaylo Mudryk and Yeremy Pino among other players that are interesting them for a winter transfer.

Arsenal's hierarchy are impressed with manager Mikel Arteta and the start they have made to this season.

They are hoping to bring in at least two players this winter, with a bid for Aston Villa's Douglas Luiz also a possibility.
