Arsenal striker Nikolaj Moller has hailed former teammate Mesut Ozil.

Moller, currently on-loan with Den Bosch, says Ozil was a class above anyother player with the Gunners.

He recalled to Voetbalzone: “He was abnormally good. I had never seen such a player from so close.

"Ozil felt the game so well and saw things that I will never be able to see. I really enjoyed it.

"When Ozil was on the ball during training sessions, there was often nothing to do about it.

“He thinks so fast. Before you try to intervene, he is already one step further. I will never forget that I was able to train with him. It is of course a dream to be able to train with such a player at a young age."

Ozil announced his retirement earlier this season when with Istanbul Basaksehir.
