Arsenal striker Aubameyang agrees to join Barcelona for pittance

Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is willing to join Barcelona on a pittance in order to fit under their wage cap.

The former Gunners captain has agreed to move to Barca on-loan to June.

Sport says Aubameyang has 'shown his desire to play for Barca' after agreeing to see out the rest of the season earning 'practically nothing.'

Aubameyang is on a mission to 're-state his case as one of the world's best strikers' and he feels he can do that at Barca.

The Catalan giants' salary cap, however, leaves the club with very little breathing room when it comes to registering players.

And big money earner Ousmane Dembele hasn't secured a move away from the club yet. Aubameyang needs Dembele to leave in order to make room in the budget for his arrival.

The Arsenal striker's wages will be topped up in bonuses - just like Daniel Alves' arrangement with the club.
