Teenage Arsenal striker Beink Afobe has emerged on the radar of Rangers boss Ally McCoist.
Gunners manager Arsene Wenger wants to send the 18-year old out on loan again to further his develop in a first team environment and it is believed that 'Gers are showing plenty of interest.
The highly-rated Afobe, who is also attracting attention from Championship clubs, has been sidelined with injury recently but indicated that he was open to a shift if it suited his parent club.
"But if the boss wants me to go out on loan for a few months that would be good too.
"A lot of teams have been asking when I'll be fully fit again, including around ten Championship clubs and Rangers, plus a Premier League team, but I won't be going anywhere yet due to injury.
"It's been a frustrating time for me this season, but, hopefully, I can make up for lost time when I'm fully fit again.""It depends what Arsenal want to do, but I just want to focus on getting fit first.
"My aim has always been to be break into the Arsenal first team," he said.
If Afobe does head to Glasgow, he will link up with Gunners teammate Kyle Bartley who is on a season-long loan at Ibrox.
