Arsenal star Bukayo Saka has revealed the teammate that impressed him the most when he came through the club's academy.

Saka has been outstanding for the Premier League leaders this season, managing 11 goals and providing nine assists in 26 league games.

The 21-year-old was asked about his most impressive teammate, and he surprisingly named former Arsenal and Germany star Mesut Ozil.

Per Football Focus, Saka said: "I think I would probably say Mesut Ozil. He plays in his own world.

"Some of the things he does and you look at him, just wow."

Despite the qualities of Ozil, he was let go by manager Mikel Arteta in January 2021.
