Arsenal captain William Gallas has dismissed claims that there's "generational conflict" within the France camp.

"Conflict, conflict ... has there been conflict? Have you seen conflict between young and old? Not me, but maybe I was not there the day it happened," said Gallas.

"And if there has been conflict, it proves that the young players are very ambitious and in the world where we are, it is better to be ambitious than anything else."
