Arsenal's Bartley: Rangers still the best team in Scotland

Kyle Bartley is confident that Rangers are still the best team in Scotland despite losing 1-0 to Celtic last night to relinquish top spot on the table.

The central defender, on loan from Arsenal, held his own in a back four which was tested by a dangerous Hoops attack at Celtic Park and maintained his positivity after the match by saying that 'Gers will once prove they are the best by taking another title come season's end.

"There is a lot of disappointment, obviously. We came here top of the league and are going home second which isn't ideal," he said.

"But we've got to take the positives from the game and move on.

"We wanted to come out here and give it a go. We feel we are the best team in the country and had nothing to be afraid of.

"Now the pressure is on Celtic. We will keep going and will keep picking up the points so we will see how they deal with the situation.

"The last three years have proved that point (that we are the best).

"We'll see how Celtic deal with the situation they are now in and we will keep picking up as many points as we can."
