Arsenal revive plans for PSV attacker Cody Gakpo

Arsenal are reviving plans for PSV Eindhoven attacker Cody Gakpo.

The Gunners are in the market for a new winger signing after missing out on former Leeds United star Raphinha following his move to Barcelona.

Arsenal have been watching Gakpo for over 18 months and Voetbal International says they're ready to bid for the Holland international.

PSV hope to keep their star this season, but if he is to leave, they prefer to sell towards the end of the transfer window. PSV have a Champions League playoff against Monaco next month.

Gakpo scored 21 goals and produced 15 assists in 46 competitive games for PSV last season.

The 23-year-old's contract with the Dutch club runs until the summer of 2026.
