Arsenal revive plans for Bayer Leverkusen defender Tapsoba

Premier League title challengers Arsenal are said to be considering a transfer for a Bundesliga defender.

The Gunners are eager to sign Edmond Tapsoba from Bayer Leverkusen in the coming weeks.

Per The Sun, Arsenal had moved away from Tapsoba after they secured Jurrien Timber.

However, the former Ajax star now has an ACL injury that may have all but ended his season.

The source adds that Arsenal will now look to add the left-footed Tapsoba to their squad.

While he will not directly take the spot of Timber, he allows manager Mikel Arteta more defensive options.
