Arsenal ready to turn to Hamburg keeper Adler

Arsenal are ready to turn to Hamburg No1 Rene Adler to solve their goalkeeping worries.

The Daily Express says Arsenal are expected to be in the market for a keeper this summer, following Wojciech Szczesny's troubled season.

Barcelona shot-stopper Victor Valdes thought to be manager Arsene Wenger's first choice.

However, if Barcelona do not allow Valdes to leave this summer, the Frenchman will make a £5m move for Hamburg's Adler.

The Gunners scouts have watched Adler on numerous occasions over the past few months, and are impressed with his performances in the Bundesliga.
