Arsenal remain in the hunt for free agent Malang Sarr.

Chelsea have been linked with the off contract Nice defender.

But the Daily Mail says Arsenal are ready to lock horns with Barcelona in an attempt for Sarr.

Sarr made a total of 20 appearances for Nice last season but has played over 100 times for the club since his debut aged just 17.

He has also represented France at every youth level from under-16 to under-21 with a senior call-up now on the horizon.

Arsenal are keen to bolster their defensive options but have already signed William Saliba from St-Etienne and are on the verge of landing Gabriel Magalhaes from Lille.
