Arsenal's move for Olympique Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac is stalling.

Gignac - whose Marseille contract expires next summer - was believed to have opened talks with the Gunners over a January switch.

However, L'Equipe says the Ligue 1 club are now working hard for the 28-year-old to pen a one-year contract extension.

With 10 goals in as many matches, Gignac is the top scorer in France this term.
