Premier League giants Arsenal still admire Aston Villa star Douglas Luiz.

The Brazilian was a huge target for the Gunners during the summer transfer window.

However, several bids were unsuccessful and Luiz ended up remaining with Villa.

When asked about the story, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano stated this during his daily briefing: "Arsenal and other clubs monitoring Douglas Luiz

"Douglas Luiz had another brilliant game for Aston Villa in their win over West Ham yesterday.

“I can tell you that there are many top clubs monitoring the Brazilian midfielder."
