Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard has left the door open to being captain in the future.
At just 22 years old, Odegaard has already captained Norway, while has leadership qualities have been hailed by manager Mikel Arteta.
Odegaard was asked whether he sees himself as a future Arsenal captain ahead of the game against Norwich.
"It would be a great honour if the opportunity came, but right now I'm focusing on the present and improving the performances of the club," he said.
He added: "I think for this season obviously we want to get back to European football. That will be important for us, the players, the club and the fans.
"Then hopefully with time, win trophies, Champions League and hopefully win the league within a couple of years."
