Arsenal midfielder Maitland-Niles tells Aubameyang: Sign the contract!

Arsenal midfielder Ainsley Maitland-Niles has urged Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to sign a new contract.

Arsenal captain Aubameyang, arguably Mikel Arteta's star man, has entered the final year of his contract and faces an uncertain future at the Emirates.

The striker highlighted his importance on Wednesday night by scoring a brace in their comfortable win over Norwich.

He celebrated his feat, which saw him score his 50th top-flight goal for Arsenal, by posting on Instagram - and teammate Maitland-Niles was quick to make his feelings known.

Aubameyang wrote: "It's a privilege to be a Football Player!!! You can have this Type of feelings That gives you goosebumps. 50!!!!!! You can call me Fofty Ainsley Maitland-Niles."

"Sign the contract bruh, stop posting fofty," responded Maitland-Niles.

Aubameyang reacted to his teammate's response by replying with a series of laughing emjois, reports the Mirror.
