Arsenal are ready to eventually integrate youngster Charlie Patino into the first team in the 2021/2022 season and beyond.

The Gunners are working hard behind the scenes to revamp manager Mikel Arteta's squad ahead of the summer transfer window.

Per football.london, Patino is highly rated at Arsenal, with academy chief Per Mertesacker holding a very high view of the starlet.

The 17-year-old will likely get a first team contract offer as soon as he is 18 in October.

He is set to play a lot for the under-23s in the coming season, and will train with the first team regularly.
