Arsenal legend Thierry Henry is the favourite for the vacant France U21s managerial post.

The France Football Association fired Sylvain Ripoll at the end of July, as his youngsters lost in the quarter-finals of the U21 Euros.

Now L'Equipe states the French FA are putting together a list of replacement candidates.

Ex-France and Arsenal forward Henry, who is a pundit for TNT Sports, is among the favorites.

The others in the race include Sabri Lamouchi, Jocelyn Gourvennec, and Julien Stephan.
