Arsenal keeper Szczesny concedes disastrous Euros campaign

Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny admits his Euros campaign was a disaster.

Szczesny played in Sunday's 2-2 draw against Hong Kong champions Kitchee, his first football since his red card playing for Poland in the opening game of Euro 2012.

"It was very disappointing for me," said the Arsenal 'keeper. "It didn't start as I wanted it to and it didn't finish as I wanted either.

"Expectations were very high but I was sent off in the first game and dropped for the third game. We got knocked out but I'm proud of the way the country hosted the tournament."
