Arsenal keeper Lukasz Fabianski is expected to be out for three months after rupturing ankle ligaments during training on Thursday. The Poland international was immediately sent to see a specialist where it was decided that he needs surgery to rectify the problem and is now facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
That has left Vito Mannone as Arsenal's only fit senior goalkeeper, with youngsters Damien Martinez and James Shea providing cover on the bench for the last six matches.
