Arsenal are in contract talks with Diego Costa.

The former Chelsea and Atletico Madrid striker is a free agent after leaving Brasileiro champions Atletico Mineiro.

TMW says Costa has been available since January 7 and initial contact with Arsenal has developed into contract negotiations.

Indeed, it's suggested an agreement is close to being struck.

Costa has also fielded contact from Spain where Cadiz, Elche and Eibar are interested.
