Arsenal hope they will not have to forfeit their Europa League match against PSV Eindhoven.
The Dutch club were set to take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in London on Thursday in the Europa League group stages.
However, the lack of available police due to the upcoming funeral of Queen Elizabeth II has meant the game was postponed.
Arsenal's problem, per the Evening Standard, is that the group stage is due to end in November, before the World Cup.
The Gunners must find a new date for the game that also works for PSV, or forfeit the result.
Tottenham had to forfeit a game in the Europa Conference League against Rennes following a COVID-19 outbreak last season.
Arsenal believe they can move around league matches to ensure the game goes ahead.
