Arsenal fullback Kieran Tierney: Why I don't wear long sleeves

Arsenal fullback Kieran Tierney has explained why he sticks with short sleeves, no matter the weather.

Tierney is never seen in long-sleeved shirts, or anything other than shorts and socks even if the snow is pouring down.

"I remember doing it at Celtic when I was really young, around 15 or 16, and then when I went into the first team I was doing it and it went well, so it become a bit of a superstition, so the more that I've done it, of course I got more used to it and because I lived in Scotland, it's not as bad down here in London," Tierney told Arsenal.com.

"The more I've done it, the more people have known me for doing it, but I was like 'Ahhhh no' because now I can't go back even if I wanted to! I've gone too far now. It's a superstition now so I've got to keep doing it.

"To be honest, I don't like the feeling of long sleeves. Even as a kid, if I was wearing long sleeves then I'd roll them up and just get on with the short sleeves. But Scott Brown done it all the time at Celtic as well and he was my hero, so I probably copied him a bit."
