Arsenal eager for Sagna, Fabianski to remain

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists he wants Bacary Sagna and Lukasz Fabianski to stay with the club.

French full-back Sagna is a target for the likes of Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain, Fenerbahce and Galatasaray as his current deal comes to an end while Polish goalkeeper Fabianski is also out of contract and could move on in the summer.

Sagna was received well by Gunners fans during their 1-0 win over West Bromwich Albion on Sunday which prompted Wenger to speak of his intentions of keeping the right-back, as well as Fabianski, at the Emirates Stadium.

"I want Sagna to stay and I hope the reception from the fans convinces him that we love him here," Wenger said.

"We have two players at the end of their contracts - Sagna and Fabianski. If it's down to me, they both stay."
