Arsenal dismiss Alexandre Lacazette buyout clause claims

Arsenal would not sell Alexandre Lacazette for less than his release clause, contrary to circulating reports.

Russian agent Dmitry Cheltsov revealed he offered Lacazette to Zenit this summer.

Cheltsov felt encouraged that the Gunners would accept an offer of less than the £61m release clause in the Frenchman's contract.

But it has emerged that Arsenal would not accept an offer for Lacazette below £100m, according to football.london.

The report also claims there is no release clause in Lacazette's contract and Arsenal have no interest in selling their 2018/19 Player of the Season.
