Arsenal defender Kyle Bartley won't rush his return from injury at Rangers.

Bartley is recovering from a hernia operation and has not featured since being forced out of his second Gers debut against Inverness on August 13.

He said: "I'm not targeting any specific games and at the moment I am just taking things day by day.

"If I start looking too far ahead of myself I might get a bit carried away.

"Realistically, I've been out for quite a while now so it could be a few more weeks before I'm fully fit, but I'm getting closer."
