Arsenal made contact with West Ham United last night to assure them over the signing of Declan Rice.
The £105m agreement had been held up by Arsenal's legal team, despite terms being settled almost three weeks ago.
The Telegraph says Arsenal were in contact with West Ham last night to alert them that Rice's deal was to be completed today.
Rice's holiday has also held up the deal but it will be officially announced before the squad fly out to the USA this weekend.
West Ham have been left frustrated by the delays as it has held up their own transfer plans.
