Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta may be ready to perform a U-turn on a loan star this winter.

The Gunners head coach is considering recalling Marquinhos back from a loan spell.

The Brazilian winger, who is only 20, is spending the season at Nantes in France.

However, The Mirror states that Marquinhos may be recalled from his loan in January.

The attacker has only started a single game for the Ligue 1 team, playing only 88 minutes.

The Gunners want him to play regularly, and are ready to move him to another team to do so.
