Arsenal are closing on an agreement for Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin.

The Daily Star says Gunners scouts have been tracking the Frenchman all season and now look to be closing in on their man.

Schneiderlin has starred for Saints this campaign on the back of a summer which saw him try and force a move away from St Mary's.

The prospective deal will cost Arsenal a fee in the region of £15m.
