Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard admitted that it was a beautiful night in the Champions League on Wednesday.
The Gunners enjoyed a comprehensive and one-sided 6-0 win over RC Lens in the group stages.
Not only have Arsenal qualified for the knockout stages, but they have done so in some style.
Post-game, Odegaard stated to club media: “It was a beautiful night at home at the Emirates in the Champions League.
“A lot to play for and we started so strong, so it was a solid game from us.
“It was a bit mad to be honest, but we did so well. The intensity, the rhythm we played in, and what we did in the boxes was brilliant. We wanted to keep doing the same in the second half, but the game was a bit different, and it was a solid performance.
“We knew what we were playing for today, so we managed to do that and of course, we're very happy now."
