Arsenal boss Unai Emery is ready to hold onto goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez.
The Mirror says Petr Cech announced his retirement from professional football and played his last match in the Europa League final defeat to Chelsea, where he is being linked with a return to the club as technical director.
Bernd Leno will be the first-choice shot stopper while David Ospina, who is currently on loan at Napoli, is rumoured to be nearing a permanent switch to Italy.
In January, Martinez secured a loan switch to Reading where he kept five clean sheets in 18 appearances which helped Reading retain their Championship status.
On his return to North London, Martinez is expected to feature in cup matches but is supposedly keen to challenge team-mate Leno for the number one spot.
