Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta admits he always knew Mauricio Pochettino would enter coaching.
The pair played together at PSG.
Arsenal go to Pochettino's Chelsea tomorrow and Arteta said: "His advice? Don't go into coaching. It's too hard!
"I knew he was going to be a coach. I followed him very closely. As a player he was a leader. I used to have him behind my back and he was constantly coaching me."
Arteta also was asked about the prospect of U18 coach Jack Wilshere leaving for Colorado Rapids.
He added: "First of all I'm really happy that Jack is part of the set up. He's brought something that I think was really necessary. These things are going to happen when people are doing really well."
