Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is eyeing Zenit St Petersburg striker Sardar Azmoun.

The Iran international has long been linked with a move to England.

And Calciomercato.com says Arteta is keen to bring the 25 year-old to London this summer. Indeed, so much so that he's spoken to former Gunners teammate Andrei Arshavin about his thoughts on the striker.

Azmoun, this past season, has scored 14 goals in 29 games.

The forward is contracted to Zenit until 2022.
