Arsenal are ready to bid for Southampton fullback Calum Chambers.

The Daily Mail says Chambers has impressed the Gunners' domestic scouting team on a number of occasions and is seen as a long-term successor to current first choice right-back Bacary Sagna.

The Frenchman is out of contract this summer and has so far refused to sign a new deal to stay at the Emirates.
