Arsenal face losing on-loan Real Madrid midfielder Martin Odegaard at the end of the season due to a lack of European football.
Gunners boss Mikel Arteta and the Arsenal brains' trust would like to keep him, and Real coach Zinedine Zidane doesn't want him.
But BBC Sportreport that Odegaard is keen on playing in Europe next season and believes his ability warrants a spot at a team in a continental competition.
That's unlikely to be happening at the Emirates, barring an end of season miracle.
With regards what Odegaard does next, much will obviously depend on what offers are on the table this summer and whether he thinks Arsenal can still give him what they could back in January.
