Arsenal are ready to seal the deal to sign Gremio midfielder Bitello in the coming weeks.

The Gunners are hoping to add the 23-year-old to their roster for the coming season.

Manager Mikel Arteta believes the versatile midfielder will add much needed depth.

Per TuttoMercatoWeb, Arteta has convinced the club to splash £6.8 million on Bitello.

The Brazilian has been with Gremio since 2021, playing a total of 50 games and scoring 11 goals in that time.

He will be expected to hit the ground running as the Premier League season begins in a few weeks.
