Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker says the club scouted him six years ago!

The Brazilian shot stopper has emerged as one of the key players for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Alisson's heroics in goal helped them become Champions League winners last season.

And he admits the he could have joined the Reds many years ago if things had gone a little differently.

Becker joined from Roma last summer.

"Someone told me in 2013 that there was from a coach from Liverpool looking at me, but I didn't really believe him," Alisson told the Independent .

"Now it's hard to take in all that has happened and to know there is still so much still to come here."
