Former Juventus assistant coach Angelo Alessio says they need to sign a midfielder in January.

Alessio also believes a winger should be added.

He told Tuttosport: "I would say a midfielder to make up for the losses of (Nicolo) Fagioli and (Paul) Pogba plus an attacking winger to try to vary the game system every now and then."

On the characteristics that the midfielder must have, this was Alessio's thoughts: "A (Arturo) Vidal. In terms of characteristics, the type of player who knows how to do the two phases and is good and punctual in entering the goal zone is missing.
