Al Nassr sports director Marcelo Salazar has announced they're in talks to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.

The released Manchester United striker is expected to sign for the Saudis in a deal worth €600m over three years. Ronaldo is also expected to commit to a deal with the Saudi Arabian government as a World Cup ambassador.

Salazar stated: "We have to wait and see what happens at the end of the year. These are negotiations of enormous dimensions.

"Not only for the club, but for the whole country and the football world."
