Al-Ettifaq have tabled a first offer for Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard.

The Reds midfielder is currently the Saudi Pro League club's top summer transfer target.

Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard is eager to build his new team around Henderson and a first offer has been tabled.

However, the £10m bid is about half of Liverpool's current valuation.

Henderson, meanwhile, has accepted a contract from Al-Ettifaq worth £700,000-a-week.
