Al-Ettifaq launch deadline day bid for Man Utd rebel Sancho

The Saudi Pro League club managed by Steven Gerrard is making a last-ditch attempt to sign a Premier League superstar.

Al Ettifaq in the Middle Eastern nation are targeting Manchester United outcast Jadon Sancho.

The 23-year-old forward was not in their squad to take on Arsenal in the Premier League on Sunday, a game United lost 3-1.

What followed was a public spat between manager Erik ten Hag and Sancho.

Per CBS Sports, Gerrard is asking his team Al Ettifaq to put in a big bid for the talented attacker.

With the likes of Jordan Henderson, Demarai Gray, Moussa Dembele, and Georgino Wijnaldum at the club, having previously played in England, Sancho would feel right at home.

However, the transfer deadline for Saudi clubs is fast approaching and United have shown no desire to immediately sell Sancho.
