Al-Ettifaq coach Gerrard has Lingard plans; must juggle import quota

Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard is ready to deal in Jesse Lingard.

The former Manchester United and Nottingham Forest midfielder has been testing with the SPL club this month.

And ESPN says Gerrard has seen enough and wants to hand Lingard a deal.

However, they must first move out two imports, with Al-Ettfiaq currently having ten. SPL clubs are limited to registering eight foreigners.

It's suggested Sweden striker Robin Quaison and Brazilian midfielder Vitinho will be encouraged to leave to make room.
