Barcelona have reached an agreement with Ajax midfielder Frenkie de Jong.

Mundo Deportivo says after over a year of talks between the two parties, De Jong has given his verbal commitment to Barca that he will join them this summer.

Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Juventus and PSG also made offers to the Holland international, but he is now committed to the Blaugrana.

There is agreement over a salary and a five-year contract - though nothing has been signed.

Barca also haven't opened talks with Ajax about a fee for De Jong, with the Dutch seeking €75m to sell.
