A local agent has questioned the hype around Antwerp midfielder Arthur Vermeeren.

The youngster is attracting enquiries from Arsenal and Barcelona ahead of the January market.

But an unnamed Belgian agent insists Vermeeren just isn't that good.

He told HLN: "Vermeeren is being hyped a bit.

"He's no (Kevin) De Bruyne. If I have to put figures on it: 15 to 20 million (euros) for El Khannouss, about 10 million for Vermeeren."
