The agent of Juventus striker David Trezeguet has revealed a rift at Lazio over the signing of Frenchman. Antonio Caliendo says Lazio president Claudio Lotito would love to sign Trezeguet, but coach Edy Reja is not so sure.
He told lalaziosiamonoi.it: "Lotito was very excited about hiring David, but said he wanted the OK from Reja. From then on, however I have not received the warmest response to this point.
"Maybe we should ask the coach of Lazio, which has made an assessment of the player ... "
Caliendo added: "I have a clear relationship with Lotito and the economic problems have been put behind them. To come to Lazio there would be no difficulties of engagement. I repeat this is only a choice of a technical nature ..."
