The agent of Daniele Rugani says new contract talks with Juventus are underway.

Davide Torchia admits discussions with the club kicked off in August.

“The topic of the renewal started with the club, in person with Giuntoli, from this summer, in August," Torchia told Sportitalia. "This desire has been made explicit.

“This does us credit because it's not a negotiation that was started today, after the performances that there have been, but even before the start of the season. It also shows what kind of trust there is in the player's technical and human capabilities.

“From there we spoke a couple of times. The boy is very proud of this idea that Juve had, with us he breaks through an open door because his objective has always been to be confirmed for the following year by this club, having never thought of leaving, not even in more difficult moments.
